One of my students just sent me this sms
"Thank you for today's lesson. (: It was really great! "
This is the first time any student has sent me a thank you sms! i am wow-ed. haha i can and never will become a full-time teacher, but i must say these things make your day. Its especially satisfying to see your students being able to play after teaching them, and developing an appreciation towards the instrument and the music :)
On a seperate note, i dont know why i seem to have lost motivation for the things im really passionate about. Namely guitar and running. i cant blame this on anyone i know. it irks me that i've such low discipline, and strength of will. ive just been so tired out the past weeks. Also admittedly, ive allowed distraction to come into my life. Good distractions, but well, one must know when to draw the line :) i dont think she reads my blog anymore, but im really proud of bailing who hit a sub-2hours for the boston half marathon! Suddenly, i miss running with her and the other ac cross people!
Just had a second interview with B-M today. Mixed feelings. i think i rambled too much! There was one point where i was elaborating on something and i momentarily forgot the question she asked! Thankfully i regained my memory without too long a pause heh. ive rehashed this over and over with nadia and daniel alr and ive gotten bored talking about it haha. Dangerous writing stuff online too.
ive been so busy, that i only realised that my birthday was coming one week ago! Someone actually had to remind me about it! haha im not going to announce it, if you guys are my friends you should already know ;)
